Meet Doctor David Ward

Dr. David Ward grew up on the east side of the state near Detroit. It was there that he was first introduced to Chiropractic. After being treated by the hometown chiropractor, he knew he wanted to help heal people just like his chiropractor had done for him.

He soon took off for Central Michigan University to complete his undergraduate studies, before moving to Davenport, Iowa to attend the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic, the fountainhead, the birthplace of Chiropractic. After four grueling years of studying, Dr. Ward graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Since his graduation, he has worked in clinics ranging as far and wide as Hyderabad, India. He finally found his home here in Grand Rapids, and in October 2008 he opened the doors to Active Life Chiropractic. Since the opening of Active Life, Dr. Ward has helped the Greater Grand Rapids area with all of their Chiropractic needs, as well as, establishing himself in the community with his charitable work (see pictures and links below) and working with the Grand Raggidy Roller Derby team as the official team Chiropractor.

Dr. Ward has been married to his wife Mary since 2008 and together they have a daughter Kaylee and a new baby boy, Lucas. When Dr. Ward is not helping ease people’s pain, he enjoys spending time with his family.
